The archaeological site of Sikyon is located near Vasiliko, a short distance from Kiato. To get there more easily, it’s best to use a car or a taxi from Kiato; local connections may be limited. Kiato is also connected to Athens by suburban railway, while buses serve the area from other places in the region. If you are traveling by public transport, check timetables in advance and whether a taxi is available for the final stretch.
Spring and autumn are the most pleasant times to visit Sikyon, thanks to mild temperatures and conditions suited to strolling among the archaeological remains.
