How to get around
To explore Ermionida with flexibility, especially its beaches and lesser-served villages, a car is the most practical option. The roads connect places such as Kranidi, Ermioni and Porto Heli, but some stretches are narrow and winding: drive carefully, especially at night. Regional buses serve the main towns, although schedules and connections can be limited; check the latest timetables before setting off. From Ermioni, there are also ferry links to some islands in the Saronic Gulf, with services that may vary by season. In summer, allow extra time for getting around and be prepared for possible parking difficulties in towns and near the beaches.
When to go
