Aghia is a peaceful base among the orchards of the Larissa plain, the wooded slopes of Mount Kissavos and the coast of the Gulf of Thessaloniki. The itinerary alternates quiet days in the villages with driving excursions, so as to reduce transfers and leave time for walks, swims and scenic stops. The nature stops are designed to be adapted to weather and trail conditions, while for museums and local venues it is advisable to check opening hours before departure. A car is strongly recommended: public transport connections between the locations are limited.

Stop in the square to observe the town’s daily rhythm and choose a coffee in the shade. A Greek coffee or an espresso costs roughly €2–4; check on site for any market days.
12:00
Folklore Museum of Agia
If open, visit the collections dedicated to rural life, trades, and local traditions; the visit usually takes 30–60 minutes. Admission may be free or require a small contribution, around €0–5, but it is best to check the opening hours in advance.

09:00
From Aghia to Metaxochori
