Spend about 75 minutes in the square, admiring the colorful facades, St. George’s Catholic Cathedral and the Serbian Church, which reflect the city’s cultural diversity. Stroll around the perimeter and treat yourself to a coffee nearby: access to the square is free, while a drink typically costs 8–18 RON. To reach the next stop, walk about 5–7 minutes south.
In the morning, the light brings out the façades; for visits to religious buildings, check any local guidance.

Spend about 45 minutes exploring the square and pause to admire the statue of Saint John of Nepomuk and the historic buildings that give it its intimate character. The area is free to visit and can be reached on foot from Unirii Square; a short break with water or coffee may cost around 5–18 RON. Then continue on to Victory Square with a walk of about 7–10 minutes.
The ground of the square is largely paved: comfortable shoes are recommended.
