Practical tips

  • Rent a car for Dadia, Tychero, Feres and the delta: public transport frequencies in rural areas are limited and not always compatible with visits.
  • Before you go, check directly with museums and visitor centers for opening hours, weekly closures, and whether booking is required.
  • In Dadia National Park and in the delta, follow the authorities’ instructions: fires, weather conditions, and wildlife protection may lead to closures or regulated access.
  • Bring comfortable shoes, water, and sun protection; in nature areas keep your distance from wildlife, do not leave litter, and use only permitted trails.
