How to get around
Meganissi can be reached by ferry from Nidri, on Lefkada: the crossing arrives at the port of Spilia and schedules may vary depending on the season. To explore the island, with its narrow, hilly roads, it’s handy to have a rental car or scooter; public transport options are limited. Vathi, , and can be visited on foot, but keep in mind the hills and the distances between villages. For coves and beaches more easily reached from the sea, consider renting a boat or joining a boat excursion.
