Plastira Dam
The dam, built on the Tavropos River, gave rise to the lake and offers sweeping views of the water and the surrounding mountains. It is one of the most distinctive places to stop along the route around the reservoir.

How to get around
To explore the lake and the surrounding villages, such as and Kalyvia Pezoulas, a car is the most convenient option: the distances may be short, but the roads are winding and, in some stretches, narrow.
