Getting around
Grevena’s center is fairly compact and can be explored on foot. To reach the villages, mountain landscapes, and attractions in the surrounding area, a car offers the most freedom; the city is connected to the Egnatia Odos. KTEL buses serve some places, but services can be infrequent: check schedules and connections before you set off. In winter, find out about road conditions and bring the proper snow gear with you.
